HEADSHOT

Starting from a chanch encounter in 2002, HeadShot has been simmering on the back burners for some time now. Donny and Mark met under "extreme" conditions and noticed in each other a real desire to make music that was both modern yet entertaining. "We started in Donny's bedroom at his mom's house in Altamonte Springs, Fl. I drove about two hours and brought my acoustic guitar so Donny and I could jam at his mom's house. Not exactly the 'big time'." says Mark, HeadShot guitarist.

When Big Bad Dan, the Bass Bully, relocated back to Melbourne, the synthesis was complete. Dan and Mark have been playing in various semi-pro and pro bands since the glorious hair days of the 80's. Luckily, Dan was opened minded enough to see the wisdom of the musical vision that Donny and Mark saw and decided to jump on board the HeadShot train.

The search for a drummer now preoccupied the guys. After trying the local music shop's bulletin boards with little success, the band turned to craigslist. Rich Razzi, a prog-metal drum specialist, answered the ad and, after hearing the trio, decided to temporarily abandon his poly-rhythmic tendencies and to give it a go.
